CHIEF is a dynamic beatmaker, his music has been best described as filling the gap between classic beatmaking and forward thinking production. He's well known both for his solo work and for producing the cream of the cream of both confirmed and upcoming rappers/singers such as Aloe Blacc, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Moka Only, Blu, AG, Marc Mac of 4heroe, Jneiro Jarel, Co$$, John Robinson, Kissey Asplund, Dynas, Les Nubians, Sene, or Abstract Rude to name but a few.

Chief released his acclaimed debut album "Collabo Collection" in 2009, which was very positively greeted by both medias and fans.In 2011 he released the instrumental album "Drone Beats & Electric Waves, a collection of haunting and bewitching instrumentals crafted specifically for this project. The album showcases Chief's technical deftness while letting musicality take the front seat, and fills the gap between classic beatmaking and forward thinking production. Chief's production exhibits a rich pallet of moods and atmospheres.

In 2011 he produced the successful album "Crickets" with Canadian rapper Moka Only, praised by both medias and fans around the world.

2012 saw the release of Chief’s "Shadows Collision" project, a versatile album where Chief managed once again to blend hip-hop and electronic music into a twist of his very own. The project was supported by Chief’s new live set with beatmaker/dj Deheb which received excellent feedback for its singular and interactive approach to live beatmaking (live MPC, turntables, keyboards, live effects,…).

The next years until today Chief released more successful projects, such as the « We The Prolific » album with John Robinson or the free download project « Echo Chamber », toured in the US, South Africa and Europe, shared the stage with Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke, Gilles Peterson, Mala, Lefto, MF Doom, Gaslamp Killer,  Peanut Butter Wolf,
Dam Funk, Moka Only, BLU, and more.

Chief was a Dj guest on BBC Radio for Gilles Peterson, NTS Radio, Rinse FM, Studio Brussels, Brooklyn Radio and more.

A new album called “Leaf” in collaboration with beatmaker Deheb will be released in Fall 2015.
Chief is also the found of Feelin’ music.
